How to put on a duvet cover with corner ties. Locate the ties on the corners of the duvet cover. No more buttons, no more pain: Flip the duvet cover right side out.

Putting on a duvet cover doesn't have to feel like such a chore. Place your hands in the cover’s opening at the foot of the bed to reach the two top corners which you have matched with the duvet’s top corners. Holding firmly, lift both the cover and the duvet off the bed making sure the duvet is sliding down inside the cover.

If you have ties on your duvet cover (and your duvet has corner loops, like ours do), you'll want to roll the duvet cover back all the way so that you can fasten the ties to the corner loops on the duvet. Take a 2 inch piece of ribbon and place it on the corner of the duvet on a diagonal. Tie your idcct’s from your duvet cover to the loops on your duvet.

Grab the top corner of your duvet and attached all three ties to the loops. Buttons are for shirts, not for duvet covers. Then tug the duvet cover down over the insert, like a pillowcase over a big pillow.

You'll need to walk from one side of the bed to the other a few times, bend to reach some of the cover, or pull the entire bunch within reach. You’ll still have to fix the other two corners but it’s way easier than crawling in the duvet :) So that it looks like this:

To make the duvet sit even in the duvet cover, i will measure the ties 6 inches from each four corners of the duvet. We added four interior corner ties inside the cover to ensure the comforter stays in place. If there are ties inside your duvet cover, fasten the tie to the comforter.

Grasp the loose corner of the duvet and the loose corner of the cover in your left hand. Our duvet covers feature a full width zipper that makes it easy to put the cover on or take it off. These duvet covers come with corner ties.

Give it a shake and a fluff until the duvet cover falls down to cover most of the comforter. Tie it in a tight knot. Once the cover is fully over the insert, tie the bottom ties together (if your cover comes with them).

If your duvet cover comes with corner ties, tie all interior corner ties of the duvet cover to the loops on the comforter. Some duvet sets come with ties already sewn onto the outer corners of the comforter and the inside corners of the duvet cover. The key is to tie the corners of the duvet and the cover together.

Repeat on each corner of the duvet. The comforter is guaranteed to stay in place: Repeat with your right hand on the opposite side.

Adjust the edges as you roll. Fasten the ties to the insert's loops. To put on a duvet cover with corner ties or snaps, attach the cover ties to the respective corners or loops of the duvet.

They fall off easily and take too long to close. Then sew it down on each end of the ribbon. No annoying buttons that do not stay closed, keep popping off, do not line up with the button holes.

While holding the top corners of. Using these two methods to put on a duvet cover, the traditional way and the california roll way, you'll become an expert on how to put on a duvet cover in no time. Pull a tie at the bottom corner of the duvet cover over the corresponding corner of the comforter;

Never wake up with the comforter bunched in a ball again. The more aligned they are to one another, the better the end result. Once done, give your duvet cover a good shake and fluff to make sure everything.

Also, if you don’t have ties you can lay the duvet on the bed, and put your hands on far corners of the inside out duvet, grab the far corners of the duvet, and “swish” it right side out. You position the corner of the duvet inside the corner of the cover, place the grips on either side of the cover with the duvet in. Keeping each corner of the duvet cover in your hand, lift up and slide the cover down on top of the rest of the insert.

The open end of a duvet cover will usually include buttons, snaps, hooks and loops, or a zipper to secure the cover. Turn the duvet cover inside out to expose the ties at the top corners. Repeat this with the other bottom tie.

Roll up the duvet cover a bit, just like you would roll your sock up before putting it on your foot. Tie the top corners of the cover and insert your comforter. Once aligned, stand opposite of the opening of the duvet cover and begin to roll the comforter and duvet cover.

Flip the cover on the duvet, so it goes fully inside the cover and attached the side ties and the bottom ties to the loop. My duvet cover is 12 inches bigger than the duvet. Now measure the opposite corner (top left corner) to see how much bigger the duvet cover overhangs from the duvet.

Some duvet covers come with ties or clips on the inside to attach to the corners of your comforter to keep your comforter from shifting around or bunching up. The button holes tend to fray while zippers do not have that problem. Continuing to hold the corners, give the cover and the duvet a good shake.

To straighten and fluff the duvet, give the whole thing a shake, holding it from the corners and edges when you do so. From the outside, pinch both the cover and the insert together in that corner and pull the whole thing up.
